When we started Lost Coast Longboarding I strived to create the most well known brand of hand painted longboards. My artistic abilities have allowed me to achieve things beyond my dreams. But it takes more than artwork to qualify as one of the best longboard brands and I do not have the knowledge or means to create the best longboard in the world. Especially because, in my professional opinion, its already been created - The Loaded Vanguard.

We are proud team up with Loaded Boards to create this series of longboards. I am honored to have such a quality canvas and to have the opportunity to add my artwork to the Loaded Vanguard.

This Flex 2 Loaded Vanguard is hand painted on both the top and bottom by me (Shane Rabant). The artwork on this longboard means a lot to me and pays tribute to my favorite artist Vincent Van Gough. I share with him the urge to create and I understand the complexities of surviving off of my own art. I am fortunate to have been able to build success where he was unable. I know his inspiration has helped me, even if he was "crazy". This life we have chosen is very rewarding, and we have learned that sometimes if you want to have fun, you have to deal with crazy.
